The 582 Series of ultra-thin rackmount enclosures is designed for high-availability computing and networking applications, providing excellent accessibility in either 1.75″ (1U) or 3.5″ (2U) form factors.

The enclosures provide a hot swap-compliant CompactPCI backplane, with VME or VPX options also available. Cooling systems are hot-pluggable, and alarming is available for both the power and cooling systems.
