Ocean Sonics offers a comprehensive range of proven and thoroughly tested accessories that complement and extend the capabilities of the icListen smart hydrophones and icTalk Smart Projector.
Products include:
- Battery Pack – extend the deployment time of icListen hydrophones to 45 (with alkaline batteries) or 135 (with lithium batteries) continuous days
- Rechargeable Battery Pack – compact 100 Wh unit that extends the deployment time of a single icListen hydrophone to two days
- Acoustic Buoy – enables drifting or moored deployments with one or more hydrophones, and allows data to be sent via Wi-Fi to PCs and mobile devices
- Launch Box – removes cable connection between mobile devices and an icListen hydrophone, sending data via Wi-Fi and recording GPS position
- GPS Time Synchronization – synchronizes hydrophones with time from GPS data, and can also be used for GPS positioning
- Hydrophone Mini Multiplexer – create arrays via Ethernet, with up to two hydrophones connected per unit
- Hydrophone Multiplexer – create arrays via Ethernet, with up to six hydrophones connected per unit
- Smart Cable – synchronize up to four icListen hydrophones through Ethernet using a single cable
- Ethernet Repeater – allows multiple cables to be connected end-to-end, increasing the overall cable run in a series up to 400m
- Extension Cables – compatible with all Ocean Sonics hydrophones and deployment accessories, allowing data transfer, synchronization and power for real-time deployments
- Guards – protect icListen hydrophone elements from damage, and provide alternative mounting and handling options
- Subsea Tripod – deploy hydrophone arrays for sound localization, with fixed separation options of 0.5, 0.75, and 1.0 meters
- Float Collar – deploy icListen hydrophones to a specific offset from the sea bottom using a known rope length
