AM Series

The AM Series is our toughest actuator model within the A-Series, featuring extensive ruggedization including enhanced resistance against shock and vibration, a conformal coated controller PCB, MIL-spec connectors, and a hardcoat anodized aluminum enclosure for EMI/EMC protection.

The lightweight actuator is rated to IP67 while static and to IP65 under dynamic conditions, and is ideal for hard-wearing aerospace and defense applications such as flight control surfaces, UGV brakes and transmission, and thrust vector control of rocket engines.

AU Series

Surface and subsea linear actuator for depths of down to 6000mAU Series Surface and subsea linear actuator

The AU Series is a linear actuator that has been specifically designed for surface and subsea naval and marine applications. Featuring Wet-Mate electrical connectors and a fully sealed pressure-balanced and oil-filled enclosure, it can reliably operate at depths of down to 6000 meters (10,000 psi).

With built-in BLDC control electronics, the actuator is ideal for a wide range of challenging deep-sea use cases including ROV control surfaces, subsea valves and release mechanisms. Low-cost shallow-water versions for littoral and surface applications are also available.

U-Series

Underwater linear electromechanical actuator with multiple motor & screw options

U-Series Underwater actuatorThe U-Series linear actuator has been designed to provide highly reliable performance for mission-critical underwater and surface naval applications in a compact footprint. With a robust pressure-compensated oil-filled design and SubConn Wet-Mate connectors, it can withstand depths of over 6000 metres.

The product range offers a wide variety of options to suit a range of applications and designs, including stepper motors or brushless DC motors, self-locking Acme leadscrews or high-efficiency ballscrews, and stroke lengths from 1 to 16 inches.

All U-series actuators feature an internal linear potentiometer for absolute position feedback, and require external motor control electronics to operate.

L-Series

L-Series Advanced linear servo actuatorsThe L-Series of linear servo actuators is designed to provide high performance under the most challenging of conditions, and features state-of-the-art materials and components, integrated BLDC control electronics, and proprietary contactless absolute position feedback technology. The robust units are ideal for unmanned aircraft and USV control surfaces and payload actuation.

The versatile IP67-rated actuators are also available in a dual redundant variant that is ideal for safety-critical airborne system designs.

Dual Redundant Servo ActuatorThis version features redundant motors, control electronics, and a triplicated absolute position sensor for voting. Control of redundant operation is handled entirely by the user with no arbitration, voting, or redundancy decisions made by the actuator, and the host can use the redundant actuator in either a cold-standby or load-sharing arrangement.

The redundant controllers and triplicated sensor are 100% electrically isolated, and an optically-isolated enable input is provided as a hardware disable that removes power from the motor bridge when inactive, bypassing the onboard control electronics completely.

T-Series

Rotary servo actuators for aerial & marine applications

T-Series rotary servo actuatorThe T-Series of rotary servo actuators combines a high-power density BLDC motor with integrated control electronics and contactless absolute position feedback to generate high torque in a lightweight and compact package. The unique gearing design allows the actuator to withstand higher transient loads without structural failure.

The robust IP67-rated actuators are ideal for a wide variety of unmanned aircraft and USV applications such as control surfaces and payload actuation. A special pressure compensated oil-filled variant, the T3U, is available for subsea vehicles operating down to 6000 meters.
