G3 Systems Limited, a provider of deployable infrastructure solutions for military and government operations worldwide, has successfully completed the initial phase of its third overseas refurbishment project for the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
This milestone marks another step in the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering resilient and high-quality infrastructure in complex environments.
Over the past year, G3 Systems has secured contracts to renovate FCDO facilities in Lagos, Nigeria, and Luanda, Angola. The latest project focuses on refurbishing the British High Commission in Maputo, Mozambique, reinforcing the UK’s diplomatic presence in the region.
Awarded through a competitive tendering process, the contract is divided into two key phases: Stage 1, which encompasses comprehensive structural and civil surveys, and Stage 2, which involves extensive refurbishment. The scope of work includes constructing a new single-story extension, remodeling existing facilities, upgrading internal amenities, and enhancing external landscaping.
Stage 2 of the project is expected to span approximately 18 months, ensuring full compliance with modern regulations while upholding the highest standards of quality, health and safety, sustainability, and security.
Nick Rose, Managing Director G3 Systems said, “We now have extensive experience of delivering on complex overseas construction projects in remote locations for the FCDO. This is just another example of our expertise in action. G3 Systems has worked with the military on high quality complex construction projects in remote and challenging locations for many years and it is fantastic to see these skills supporting UK national interests elsewhere in the world. I am also really looking forward to sharing more good news soon in other areas of our business.”
