Defenture has officially launched its latest military off-the-shelf (MOTS) platform ‘Mammoth’ at Eurosatory 2024 in Paris.

An advanced military vehicle, the Mammoth provides exceptional agility, stability, and combat power. The Mammoth platform is a cutting-edge tactical mobility solution designed to meet the demands of modern military operations and maximize operational efficiency and safety.

Weighing nearly nine tons, the Mammoth’s mobility and agility are comparable to military vehicles that weigh significantly less. The vehicle’s combination of power, mobility, and versatility makes the Mammoth suitable for a wide range of operational applications in the most challenging conditions.

Earlier this year, Defenture handed over the first vehicles of the Mammoth configuration (AGF2) to the German Bundeswehr. The platform has now been officially launched at Eurosatory.

The Mammoth platform is the latest addition to Defenture’s existing portfolio, which also includes the battlefield-proven GRF and the Scorpion Military Diesel Quad. In addition to producing, delivering, and maintaining mobility platforms worldwide, Defenture is also partner in system integration, MRO (Maintenance, Repairs and Overhaul) and training and education.

Defenture is a Netherlands-based Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of lightweight tactical and air-transportable vehicles, with a range of up to approximately ten tons. Defenture is a mobility partner for various Ministries of Defence, including in the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.

Defenture states that the unveiling marks an important milestone for the company, and its Mammoth vehicle is setting new standards for advanced military mobility solutions.

Henk van der Scheer, CEO of Defenture, commented on the launch of the latest vehicle in Defenture’s portfolio; “We are incredibly proud to launch the Mammoth globally in Paris today.

“Not only the impressive technical specifications and performance of this platform are unique, but also the fact that the vehicle is entirely developed and produced from scratch as a Military Off-The-Shelf (MOTS) vehicle by Defenture. This platform is a proof of innovation, safety, mobility, and operational versatility at the highest level in one.”
