Patria Wins Slovakian BOV 8×8 Program Tender

Patria has won the Government of the Slovak Republic’s BOV 8×8 program tender for the supply of its Patria AMVXP 8×8 vehicles for the Armed Forces of Slovakia. 

The government decision was based on bids submitted at the end of 2021 and vehicle and weapon system tests carried out in February 2022. Patria’s offer was the best match to the requirements.

As well as supplying armored wheeled vehicles to Slovakia, the company is also contributing to the development of the Slovak engineering and defense industry with the creation of new jobs in regions with high unemployment rates, either directly in the partner companies or with their suppliers or subcontractors. The BOV 8×8 program will also influence in regions’ educational opportunities and economy.
